The Bridge: Senior Reservoir Engineer - Expatriate Status - AARG01

Founded nearly sixty years ago, our client is one of the world's top independent oil and gas companies with exploration and production interests in North and South America, North Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe.

They have a portfolio of core areas that provide long-term growth opportunities through drilling supplemented by strategic acquisitions. Two decades ago, recognizing that the United States was a mature oil and gas province, they launched an international exploration component to their portfolio approach, incorporating international locations that provide additional diversity of geologic and geographic risk as well as exposure to larger reserve targets, which in turn fuel production and reserve growth.

This company has exploration and production operations in six countries, comprising of seven regions. They have achieved a critical mass in each of their producing regions, all supporting sustainable, lower-risk,
repeatable drilling opportunities. This enables them to pursue higher-risk, higher-reward exploration primarily in their international regions, particularly with growth areas of Asia Pacific, North America and North Africa. 39 million gross acres across the globe bring ample growth opportunities.

We have been assigned to secure the hire of a Senior Reservoir Engineer on expatriate status to work in their South American operations. This position requires someone from a well educated background and someone who thrives in a very technical position.

Required Skills/Experience: We require someone with at least 15 years of technical experience in a Reservoir Engineering position. International Oil Company experience is important within this role and someone who has worked in a variety of regions. Technically sound with ability to mentor National Reservoir Engineers. Major Oil company background is highly valued along with a good education.
